Physical education is supposed to facilitate general interdisciplinary skills in addition to sport abilities. The authors present a study on a five-week project in dance for secondary school level and investigate how it influenced the students’ social competence. The data reflect that the students positively developed their abilities to cooperate and to handle conflicts as well as diversity.
