The P-7 programme and Strategic Goal 3 of the Chamber of Swiss Universities of Teacher Education call for developments in the areas of diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunities. A document analysis is used to examine the extent to which these development-related topics have been taken up in the journal «BzL» (2002–2022) and in concepts of the Swiss universities of teacher education. Inclusive cultures, structures, and practices as well as the consideration of different diversity dimensions are examined. The analyses show that the topic is taken up differently at Swiss universities and that there is generally still a great need for development. This may explain the still rather poor reception of these topics in the journal «BzL».
