The article examines forms of resistance in power-formed institutional settings by means of a converstation-analytical study of an educational coaching. Theoretically, it draws on the late Foucault and its interpretation by Judith Butler. The result shows that Butler's concept of repetition and iterability is suitable to theoretically frame and make understandable the form of resistance in educational situations.
