Full text not available from this repository.Based on cualitative data and reflections from binational research, this article examines migration as a phenomenon that both challenges schooling and allows it to open up to new scenarios, reveals tensions with the assigned tasks and conceives it as a special place to account for inclusive education. The study was carried out at the Héctor Abad Gómez Educational Institution in Medellín, Colombia, a public institution that, under the self-representation ofbeing ' the institution of inclusion', has accepted the challenge of guaranteeing the right to education. Different facets of schooling are shown.
