The qualitative longitudinal study examines the development of multi-professional collaboration in three all-day schools over a period of two years. In this process formal and informal opportunities for collaboration are indispensable. The comparison of the group discussions shows that different negotiation processes take place in the all-day schools and that responsibilities are constructed in the social context. All teams develop their own form of multiprofessional collaboration and the differentiation of responsibilities as well as the common orientation vary depending on the all-day school. Stability in the institutional framework and time resources can have a decisive influence on the development of multiprofessional collaboration.
