The teaching of research skills as part of the training of future teachers is of central importance. While preparing and writing their master’s theses,student teachers at the University of Teacher EducationBern (Switzerland) can attend a methodological coaching session in which they are supported in the choice of methods, the development of methodological designs and statistical analysis. This article describes the structure of this type of method coaching in the sense of a good-practice example.
